Strathcona County made improvements to the Bethel Transit Terminal to ensure a safe and sustainable roadway.

The majority of this work was completed in 2024, with the final phase of improvements completed in 2025. 

About the project

This project involved replacing the perimeter asphalt roadway within the terminal. Spot concrete repairs on the terminal walking surface were also completed.

Provincial grant funding

Most of the project construction cost is covered by a provincial grant, with only 10 per cent of the cost paid for by the County.
