Strathcona County offers a broad range of grants and funding opportunities each year. The information provided below is intended to connect individuals and non-profit organizations to these grants, and conference or event organizers to municipal sponsorship. Arts, Culture and Heritage

Six grant and funding categories are offered through the Arts, Culture and Heritage Community Investment Program. They are:

  • Artist Development
  • Arts Development / Program / Project
  • Capital Equipment
  • Organizational Development
  • Special Event or Festival Grant
  • Canada 150 Grant

Council Priority Funds

Council Priority Funds are intended to provide support one-time community initiative or event that benefits Strathcona County and its residents.

The Strathcona Community Investment Program provides funds to support community initiatives or events that benefit Strathcona County and its residents.

Social Services

Social Services Grant Programs

The Social Services Grant Program provides financial support to non-profit organizations that are meeting the social service needs of our residents and demonstrate the use of collaboration and principles of sustainability. Grants are provided in two categories: Operating Grants and Partnership Funding Grants.

Community Recreation Event and Sport Tourist (CREST) Investment Program
