As part of the Strathcona County Trails Strategy, multi-use trails were identified as being an essential outdoor recreational amenity. These trail linkages provide residents with opportunities to actively connect to the surrounding neighbourhoods and experience a greater quality of life.

Construction of the Executive Estates Trail is scheduled to being June 2020.
