Strathcona County Guideline for CAD Standards (557.6Â KB)
We strongly encourage consultants, developers, and project teams to adopt these guidelines for any projects initiated before January 1, 2024. Additionally, we recommend applying these standards to CAD representations of subdivisions, buildings, and other vertical infrastructure projects to promote uniformity and ease of data exchange across all developments.

In order to ensure that incoming data combines with existing infrastructure data seamlessly, we require all data to be presented in our standard coordinate system.
This allows for an easy to understand product where each utility line can be identified on its own without needing to refer back to an overall legend on another sheet.
