Your business matters
We would appreciate hearing about your business operation. During the one-hour business visit, a representative from Economic Development & Tourism will gather information which will help develop future programs and resources to assist our business community. Â You will learn more about expanding your network, improving operations and finding solutions to business challenges.
Business Visitation Committee
As part of our business retention initiative, the Strathcona County Business Visitation Committee meets with a variety of local businesses once per month. Â The purpose of the visitation is to:
- Meet the owners, learn about your business operation, and possibly have a tour of your facility
- Discuss problems, concerns, and barriers to business operation in Strathcona County
- Connect you with resources for future growth and networking opportunities
- Discuss services available from Economic Development & Tourism
- Express our gratitude for locating your business in our community
The visitation committee members are:
- Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councillor for your business area
- Executive Director, Sherwood Park & District Chamber of Commerce
- Economic Development & Tourism staff
