Weekend itineraries: last weekend in February

Riverside Nature Area is a beautiful spot for a pleasant stroll sometime this weekend. It's a great place to enjoy nature, with a trail alongside the North Saskatchewan River. The loop is 5.5 km altogether and an easy walk for any age. This will also be the location of the new footbridge that will allow people to cross the river - check out its location before construction is finished.

A bubble tea in front of neon sign at Boba Bar
Boba Bar has been open for over a year now; have you stopped by to check it out? They have a great menu to fill your drink wish list, AND they just started including taiyaki on certain days. Taiyaki is a Japanese waffle or cake with a filling inside, usually shaped like a fish. Try it out on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and take a photo at their neon sign. If you went to Boba Bar and didn’t take a photo, did you even go?? 🤔😜

The view as you walk into Choco-licious store
Great news, confection fans! Choco-licious Confections has opened a storefront location in Sherwood Park. Now, you can fill your cravings at any time. Found behind Ordze Transit Centre in the Village Park Mall, stop by this weekend and congratulate this local business on taking a big step to having their own location. With Easter next month, it’s never a bad idea to start collecting candy, and they just so happened to announce their Mini Egg items yesterday. Perfect timing!
