Weekend itineraries: Fall is around the corner

This weekend is the Artist Home Studio Tour the Art Society of Strathcona County puts on. This self-guided tour allows people to see the creative space and works in progress of some of our local artists. It’s a great way to help support art in our community and support local entrepreneurs! Visit their website for more information.

Butter chicken from India Taj Indo Chinese Cuisine

Head over to Aspen Plaza this weekend to check out India Taj Indo-Chinese Cuisine. This restaurant is a fusion of Indian and Chinese, bringing you a range of menu items. Their blending of spices means that even recognizable favourites have a unique twist. Dining in is available, but if you prefer to take away, you can do so. Take a look through their menu, available on their website.

A crowd of people attending NOSH food fest

Wholly Handmade's food event Nosh is on in the Community Centre Agora this weekend! Stop by on Saturday or Sunday to check out more than 100 food and beverage producers; best of all – it’s free admission! This is a popular event, so come early on Saturday so you don’t miss out on the best goods. With a range of vendors with sweet, salty, savoury, and even international food items for sale, you can find everything (and more!) you’re looking for.

If you’re looking for other things to do this weekend, head to our tourism pages for more suggestions of ways to support local and find your adventure in Strathcona County.
