Weekend itineraries: family time

This weekend in Sherwood Park and Strathcona County

Weekend itineraries: family time

Alice in Wonderland starts at Festival Place this weekend! Take a trip down the rabbit hole and meet some exciting characters along the way. With Family Day on Monday, a day at the theatre is a great way to spend some time with family. Try not to be late for this very important date - get your tickets before missing out!

Outside of Kobachi

While at Festival Place, or if you’re around Centre in the Park, make sure to stop by Kobachi for some sustainable and locally sourced Japanese dishes. They have a great menu full of sushi, sashimi, and even maki options – plus weekly features. This is a popular spot, especially on weekends, so call for a reservation. Make sure to check out their Facebook page for the latest offerings.

Hockey equipment in a locker room

It’s not too late in the season to pick up a pair of skates, but if you’re over the winter weather, don’t worry! Sin Bin Sports has started stocking up on summer equipment: lacrosse sticks, baseball gloves, and even some clothing. There’s just over a month until spring is here, so you might as well start getting ready for it now! Stop by Sin Bin Sports on Sherwood Drive to get ready.
