Weekend itineraries: end of August

Can you believe it’s already the last weekend in August? Summer is quickly coming to an end with school starting and with cooler temperatures on the horizon. Take advantage of spending time at the spray decks and spray parks we have in Strathcona County before it’s too late. We have a handy list of all the ones in the community on our website, so planning to visit one has never been easier. Plan ahead for the next hot day and spend it getting sprayed with water. It’s a great way to cool off!

The Italian Centre opened last month. Have you stopped by to check it out? If not, we have a great reason for you to do so. Spinelli’s Bar Italia is a café located inside the grocery store, and it’s a great place to stop for a snack or even a meal. Choose from a range of options, including pastries, pizzas, or even paninis, and enjoy the Italian atmosphere either inside or outdoors on their patio. It’s a great way to spend some time this weekend!

Dance season is starting soon, so it’s time to start thinking about what you might need. And All That Jazz has been operating for nearly twenty years, and they’re proud to offer dance, swim, gym, and even skating attire and accessories to make sure that you or your child is ready for the season.
