Take in an outdoor market in Sherwood Park

Weekend itineraries: outdoor markets

There’s an outdoor market happening today at Millennium Ridge! Head over to 220 Lakeland Drive to browse through the pop-up of local shops, the live music, and kids’ activities. Food trucks are even in attendance, so this is a great spot to pick up a bite to eat. This market is a great way to support the local businesses which make up Strathcona County’s economy, and it’s a great way to have some fun while shopping. This market takes place every second Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., so mark down August 19 in your calendar if you miss out on today. This week’s lineup has thirty vendors attending. For a full list of participants, take a look at Niche Beauty’s Facebook page.

Exterior of New Asian Village

New Asian Village is an authentic East Indian restaurant found in Sherwood Park. Stop by for pakoras, tandoori, or vindaloo and enjoy the atmosphere inside or sit outdoors on their patio. With their extensive menu, there’s something that will catch anyone’s eye. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for live entertainment, including DJs, singers, and more. Stop by this weekend and support this local restaurant found on Main Boulevard, beside Broadmoor Boulevard.

Fruit sold at Farmers Market

If you miss out on the market today, there's another great way to support local at the Baseline Farmers Market. This is another outdoor market that takes place in Sherwood Park every Wednesday evening. This market is open from June to October, so there's plenty of time to stop by and check it out and support our local entrepreneurs.
