Some homes, businesses and temporary commercial operations like construction sites are not connected to the municipal sewer system. Instead, they send their wastewater to a wastewater transfer station for proper wastewater disposal.
In partnership with EPCOR’s drainage services Strathcona County operates the Clover Bar Wastewater Transfer Station. The transfer station conveys wastewater the Alberta Capital Region Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Wastewater transfer stations are only open to licensed, commercial haulers who are registered with EPCOR’s drainage services or the County of Strathcona.
Clover Bar Wastewater Transfer Station is located at 53317 Range Road 232.
Anyone wishing to use the transfer station must be registered and abide by the conditions of use. Authorized haulers receive a non-transferable access card for each vehicle. The fully automated transfer station is open 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
