Whether you are looking for a pool party, an outdoor adventure party or a party in a fun filled indoor playground, Strathcona County's party packages offer something for everyone.

Millennium Place

Millennium Place is pleased to offer two package options to enhance your special day.

1. Room rental: available at a rate of $61.80 per hour, this package includes tables, chairs and complimentary storage for your party and food supplies while you enjoy our facility. Please note that admission costs for facility activities are not included.
2. Millennium Place party package: available at a rate of $175.00, this option includes a 1.5-hour room rental, tables, chairs, 10 wristbands for facility access and complimentary storage for your party and food supplies.

Ardrossan Recreation Complex

To book your party package at Ardrossan Recreation Complex, call 780-400-2084 or email rural.facilities@strathcona.ca.

No balloons are permitted unless they are used as a weighed-down centrepiece. Pinãtas and alcohol are not permitted. All food must be pre-cooked, warming devices are not permitted.

Check out the recreation schedule for ideas to add onto your party like play time in the Edu-tainment Centre and Youth Lounge, public skating (September to March), or sportzone (summer).

Strathcona Olympiette Centre & Moyer Recreation Centre

• Length of program: 2 hours, up to 10 kids, ages 6Y-12Y
• Available weekends and evenings
• Includes: 20-minute gallery tour, 1 hour art activity (all supplies included) and 40 minutes for food/cake at the end
• Rate: $225.75
   
• Three options to choose from:
  • Painting Party: Get creative with warm and cool colours! Kids will explore colour mixing and paint a vibrant masterpiece to take home. A fun and expressive activity for all budding artists.
  • Printmaking Party: Discover the exciting world of relief printmaking! Kids will learn scratch-foam printmaking with a styrofoam sheet, how to carve their design with a pencil, ink up the foam, and make colourful prints to share and display.
  • Needle Felting Party (7Y+): Is your child interested in fibre arts? Kids will use special felting needles to create their own colourful, 2D, needle-felted artwork! Perfect for those who love hands-on crafting and want to try something new.

Note: We do not provide any food, plates, utensils or decorations. You are welcome to arrive 10 minutes early to set up your own decorations in the studio, but we ask that you be responsible for cleaning these up at the end of the session. Please do not bring sparklers, piñatas or confetti.

Kinsmen Leisure Centre

Pool Parties

Bookings available:

• Fridays from 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.
• Saturdays from 12:30 - 2 p.m. or from 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Pool parties include the use of:

• family waterslide
• whirlpool and steamroom
• kids' multi-depth pool
• spiral fountains and waterfall
• 1-metre and 3-metre diving boards
• Tarzan rope
• 6-lane, 25-metre swim pool
• boats, tubes, mats, balls and more!

We offer a shared pool rental for up to 25 people and a private pool rental for up to 75 people. Have more than 75 people? No problem! Please give us a call to coordinate.

Party Room

Bring your group to a recreational swim and book the party room before or after your swim for cake and gifts! Tables and chairs (adult and child-sized) are available. Rental of the room is for one and a half hours and accommodates 35 people. You are welcome to bring in your own food. Fridge/freezer storage is available for cakes.

Preschool Playground Party

The mini-gym is filled with modern play equipment including a pirate ship, slides, climbing structures and more! Great fun for little ones (6 months - 6 years) where they can run, jump, bounce and hop in a safe, kid friendly environment. Use of playground and Parkview room for up to 75 people for two hours.

Emerald Hills Leisure Centre

Party Room(s)

Glen Allan Recreation Complex

Available early Spring through August

Party room rental includes:

• 1 hour in the party room
• 12 facility admission wristbands for access to dry surface or skating (times vary)
  • Additional wristbands may be purchased as needed
• Fridge available for use
• Secure storage for gifts/belongings while having fun

Rate: $105.00 for the first hour and $61.80 for every additional hour in the party room

Sport Zone Party:

The Glen Allan Recreation Complex Sport Zone Party features a variety of activities for all ages. From preschool to young adult, there are equipment packages available for everyone!

Bookings are available:

• Fridays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., or 6:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
• Saturdays from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 5:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
• Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 5:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Party package includes:

• 1 hour in party room
• Fridge available for use
• Secure storage for gifts/belongings while having fun
• 1 hour in half of the dry surface space, equipment package of your choice (maximum 30 participants)
• Additional charge for two basketball nets or inflatable

Rate: $210.00 for the party; For an additional hour on dry surface: $120.00

Extend the party for cake

For an additional fee, our cookhouse, fire pit areas or Information Centre can be booked to complete your party.

Please note: The Strathcona Wilderness Centre is a public park. Your group will share the use of the public areas. Every effort will be made to ensure your group has as much privacy as possible. For a completely private area inquire about the availability of our lodge.

Cancellation

Groups are not required to pay for programs cancelled due to adverse weather, or if notice of cancellation is received up to 72 hours prior to the program. Please contact us by phone at 780-922-3939 or email at swcinfo@strathcona.ca. We will get back to you by the next business day to confirm that your cancellation request has been received. If you do not receive an email or phone call, please re-contact us as soon as possible.

Please check two or three potential re-booking dates with all leaders prior to re-booking your program, as changes to dates and times are not always guaranteed. At least 72 hours prior to your program, please inform the Strathcona Wilderness Centre of any changes to your bookings, such as the number of participants, arrival times and departure times. If a program is missed or cancelled with less than 72 hours notice, there will be a charge of 50 per cent of the total contract or a minimum of $100.

École Père Kenneth Kearns

Available September to April

Bookings are available on Sundays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Party package includes:

• Private use of full gym space for 2 hours
• Large inflatable
• Wide variety of gym equipment including volleyball, badminton, pickleball, basketball, dodgeball and various other sports. Speak to one of our team members for more details!
• Private use of tables, chairs and space to enjoy cake and gifts during your booked gym time
