Celebrate Family Day in Strathcona County while giving back to your community. On February 16, 100 per cent of admission fees at Strathcona County recreation facilities support the Everybody gets to playTM program, helping families with limited income access recreation and culture services.

As of January 2026, more than 2,250 residents have access to recreation and culture through Everybody gets to playTM.

Family Day activities

Find fun things to do with your family this Family Day! Additional recreation activities will be offered at County facilities on February 16. 

Please note: Some regularly scheduled activities in the calendar may appear as Cancelled due to holiday hours.

February 9-16, 2026

Support local businesses and help expand access to recreation in Strathcona County. One dollar ($1) from each of the following items sold between February 9-16, 2026, will be donated to the Everybody Gets to Playâ„¢ program:

Corporate donation drive

Businesses are invited to support Everybody gets to playâ„¢ with donations of $100, $250, $500 or more. Official donation receipts are available upon request.

To donate, contact sponsorship.rpc@strathcona.ca or the Recreation Administration Office at 780-467-2211, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m.
