Gemstone Gallery features a selection of youth artists in an annual exhibition as well as a series of permanently displayed artworks from the Annual Art Acquisition program. Â
The annual exhibition represents the award-winning artists from the Art Society of Strathcona County’s annual Student Art Competition Show and Sale. Each May, the Show and Sale features students from Grades 10 to 12, who are registered in an accredited school or program within Strathcona County. From 2023 onward, winning artists from the Student Art Competition will be invited to a year-long exhibition at the Gemstone Gallery. Â
The gallery is located on the second floor of the Emerald Hills Leisure Centre and is an inclusive place where youth artwork can be shared and enjoyed by the public.Â
