In July 2018, there was an amendment to the Aggregate Levy Bylaw 41-2009 updating the payment levy from $0.25 per tonne of sand and gravel to $0.40 per tonne of sand and gravel.
Each year, all sand and gravel operations in Strathcona County must report their shipments, in tonnes, from each individual pit within the boundaries of the County, on a quarterly basis, within fourteen days after:
