Strathcona County / City of Fort Saskatchewan Intermunicipal Relations Committee

The purpose of the Strathcona County / City of Fort Saskatchewan Intermunicipal Relations Committee is to enhance the working relationship between the City of Fort Saskatchewan and Strathcona County with respect to issues of common concern and interest.  The Strathcona County / City of Fort Saskatchewan Intermunicipal Relations Committee is established by Strathcona County Bylaw 46-2015 (146.4 KB)  and 13-2019 (amendment to 46-2015) (18.9 KB)

Members

The composition of the Strathcona County / City of Fort Saskatchewan Intermunicipal Relations Committee consists of elected officials, the Chief Commissioner for Strathcona County, the Associate Commissioner Infrastructure Planning Services Division, and the Director of Corporate Planning and Intergovernmental Affairs.  

Elected official members

Strathcona County Council appoints the Mayor, Ward 5 Councillor, and one other Councillor to the Strathcona County / City of Fort Saskatchewan Intermunicipal Relations Committee. 

Citizen members

There are no citizen members of the Strathcona County / City of Fort Saskatchewan Intermunicipal Relations Committee.  

Meetings

There are currently no meetings scheduled for the Strathcona County / City of Fort Saskatchewan Intermunicipal Relations Committee.

Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings to observe the meeting and discussion carried out by the Strathcona County / City of Fort Saskatchewan Intermunicipal Relations Committee.  However, members of the public may only participate in a meeting of and make representations to the Strathcona County / City of Fort Saskatchewan Intermunicipal Relations Committee in accordance with the Boards and Committees Bylaw.
