Counselling Services

NEW!!  Walk-in counselling sessions

Family and Community Services is offering walk-in counselling sessions on a first come, first serve basis with no appointment needed.

Hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the last counselling session offered at 6 p.m.

What is the cost?

Counselling fees are based on "pay what you can afford". 

What are some reasons for accessing counselling services?

Our qualified professional counsellors offer encouragement, identify strengths, resources and ideas for change for a variety of reasons that might bring you in:

  • Family conflict

  • Anxiety

  • Stress management

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Isolation/Loneliness

  • Divorce or separation

  • Low self-esteem

  • Grief and loss 

  • Family Violence/Abuse

  • Financial Stress

  • A sudden change

  • A stressful event

  • A loss of confidence

Adult Drop-In groups

Our Adult Drop-In groups are now being offered. The Men's Group is on Tuesdays and the Women's Group on Thursdays 6:30 - 8 p.m. All are welcome. The groups are free. Adult Drop-in Groups

These services will be expanding overtime. Please watch for updates.


If you are a certified counsellor and are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact us. Practicum experience is also available for counselling and social work practicum students.
