Please note that the closure of Festival Way (Google Maps link) has been adjusted on Saturday, November 15 due to a memorial event. The entirety of Festival Way will be closed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
We recommend accessing Celebration of Lights by parking at the Sherwood Park Arena, along Oak Street, or walking from the Sherwood Park Mall parking lot.
Wear your favourite holiday sweater or elf hat and join us at the Celebration of Lights! This family-friendly event is entirely free and aims to entertain the whole family with an LED tree show, holiday music, holiday activities and games, as well as a special appearance from Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Grinch!
Dress for the weather as most activities will be outdoors.
Donations can be made on-site during the November 15 event. Can't make it to the event? In-person donations can be made at the Strathcona Food Bank location at 255 Kaska Road, Sherwood Park from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, Monday to Friday. Financial donations can be accepted via e-transfer to treasurer@strathconafoodbank.ca.Â
Expect increased traffic along Festival Lane and Festival Avenue from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Festival Way will be closed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Resident and business access only on Brentwood Blvd N (Southbound) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please be prepared to indicate to staff you are a resident or accessing a business. There will be no parking along Festival Lane or at Festival Place on November 15. Parking will be available at surrounding facilities.

The LED tree will be lit up daily through the holiday season from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Driving by? The soundtrack for the tree light show can be heard at 103.3Â FM.
