Together, these documents guide the work of administration to implement Council’s vision.

The Strategic Plan is Strathcona County’s principal guiding document for governance, community development and service delivery. It’s the foundation for County planning, budgeting and performance measurement and reporting.

The Service Management Framework  consists of 13 programs and 60 services that describe what Administration delivers to the County in support of the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan.

The Asset Management program provides a framework and coordinated approach to managing assets and infrastructure across the County, informing strategic and operational planning.

Strathcona County's Corporate Business Plan highlights the connectedness between departments, teams and individuals, and most importantly; how we are committed to the vision of becoming Canada's most livable community.

The County approves a multi-year budget every year detailing how dollars will be spent to maintain and improve municipal programs and services for the community. It's a balance between setting a reasonable tax rate and delivering services expected by residents and businesses. 

Quality financial reporting provides timely, transparent information on financial activities. Strathcona County's financial reporting includes quarterly management reports, audited financial statements and annual reports.
