Parent Link Parent Workshop: Enigma- The Two Year Old

Is your two year old ferocious and precocious one moment, teary and cuddly the next?
This workshop will help you unravel the mysteries of your child's baffling behaviour.
Each participant will be given a child development checklist to fill out prior to the workshop. Bring the checklist to the workshop and learn how keeping track of your child's development will help you begin to solve the riddle of your child's behaviour.
We will look at how stages of development, temperament and common issues (such as toileting, bed time routines, seperation anxiety, and tantrums) create parenting challenges.
Leave with a better understanding of your child's behaviour and some practical strategies to take home and try!

Parent Link Parent Workshop: Every Child Ready To Read

Would you like to help your 3-5 year old get ready to read?
This workshop features five simple practices parents and caregivers can use to help their children get ready to read. Research shows that children who develop essential language and early literacy skills before they start kindergarten become better readers.
Best books and easy- to- do at home activities will also be featured along with draws for books and other prizes!

Parent Link Special Event: Preschool Fair!

Parent Link is having a birthday party for your 2-year old!
Come join us at the Preschool Fair and learn ways to support and monitor your 2-year old’s development. During the fair you and your child will complete an Ages & Stages Questionnaire. The questionnaire focuses on 5 key areas: communication, gross & fine motor skills, problem solving, and personal-social skills.
This is a unique way to learn all about your child’s development and how you can help support their growth and development.
