Services you can access online
- Citizens can report select crimes online. All reports will be followed up with a phone call by a police officer within five (5) business days. Criteria for the incident to be reported online is available on the Alberta RCMP Online Crime Report page.
- You can also report single vehicle collisions online. If you've struck an animal, an object, or your parked vehicle was the subject of a hit and run, you can report the damage through the Government of Alberta's Report My Collision portal.
- You can apply for an alarm permit online via ePermits.
- If you need to pay a municipal bylaw ticket, you can do so online through the QR code found on the bylaw violation tag.

- Surrendering weapons: Strathcona County RCMP would like to remind the public that firearms, explosives, and weapons of any kind are prohibited from being brought into the detachment building. If you need to bring any of these items in, please consult with a front counter associate first for guidance on how to safely surrender a weapon.Â

RCMP and Enforcement Services related information and requests are now available as a single point of service at the front counter.
Outside of listed hours, the public can access help using the after-hours public phone inside the front door of the detachment.

Fingerprint services are by appointment only, call 780-449-0100 to schedule an appointment. Two pieces of valid government ID including one piece of photo ID must be presented at the time of digital and ink and roll fingerprint processing.
