There are current detours on routes: 401, 411, 413, 414, 431 and 451. Please also note bus stop closures that impact on-demand pick-ups and drop-offs.
Visit detours and stop closures for specific information.
Please note that Google Maps adjusts stop times in between designated timing points. Please refer to your route's schedule to confirm travel times. If your stop is not a timing point, please be at your stop for the time stated at the previous timing point to ensure you do not miss your bus.
Here's an example of how to use the route PDFs to plan your trip.
Helpful hints: Timing points are indicated in red on your map and correlate to times on the published schedule.
Check the individual route maps to be clear which stops are serviced by your route. For example, Routes 413 and 414 are express routes to their destinations. Only Route 411 stops along 98 Ave.
There are three sets of maps and schedule: Commuter, Local week day and Evening and weekend service maps. Please ensure you look at the correct map for the type of service you will be using.

Your bus will always depart from its designated location at the terminal - this way you always know where to catch it. However, upon arrival at the terminal, buses may occasionally drop you off at a different stop on the platform other than the one you are currently riding. This may position you closer to, or farther from, your desired connection. If you require a connection, you may ask your operator to request another bus to hold during non-peak hours. Please read our hold guidelines for more information.
Why does this happen? To increase operational efficiencies, buses are often assigned to more than one route in one day - it's called interlining, and a common practice in the transit industry. Interlining allows for the effective use of buses, as well as providing our operators with a bit of variety in their day.
While to access these stops you need to ride commuter Route 411, all stops east of 50 street in Edmonton are still considered local Strathcona County stops. Fares to travel to these destinations will be charged accordingly depending on what direction you are travelling. Don't forget to tap-on and tap-off.
