Strathcona County’s legacy of historic buildings and cultural landscapes provides in our modern-day world a “sense of place” that reflects Strathcona’s rich past. In 2012, the County conducted a survey of such historic sites and we looked for input from the community.

What was the purpose of this survey?

The survey of historic sites identified significant historic buildings and cultural landscapes in Strathcona County.

Municipal inventory of historic sites (7.6 MB)  - Presented to Priorities Committee March 11, 2014

The survey and inventory were recommended by Strathcona County's Heritage Resources Management Plan, which was approved by Council in 2008.
