There are many exciting initiatives underway for 2010. Watch the facility revitalization projects unfold as the Open Space and Recreation Facility Strategy comes to life. Much anticipated improvements to the Ardrossan Recreation Complex, Millennium Place and the Broadmoor Arena and Clubhouse will begin this fall.

There are also many opportunities to be active in the community including volunteering at an event.

Get your kids involved this summer with a great leadership opportunity -  Leaders in Training (LIT) with culture, youth or preschool summer camps.

Under the Everybody Gets to Play initiative, Strathcona County's Recreation Access Program provides assistance to families to remove the barriers to participating in recreation activities.

Enjoy the outdoors this summer with your kids! Enjoy the main trails that are in Strathcona County. Pick up your copy of current trail map at any recreation facility.
