Kick off the holiday season at Strathcona County’s Celebration of Lights Festival. Remember your donation for the Strathcona County Food Bank (32.0 KB) .

At 5 p.m. join Santa and the Mayor as the magic of the season comes alive with the digital Christmas tree and community holiday lights outside the Community Centre. 

Enjoy a FREE afternoon full of magical and unforgettable activities! View all activities and plan your fun day.

NEW: Festival of Trees - at Festival Place!

This year you can also check out the Festival of Trees presented by the Festival Place Cultural Arts Foundation at Festival Place. Enjoy entertainment, activities and displays in support of art programming for youth and children in Strathcona County. The Festival of Trees kicks off on Friday, November 20 with a ticketed gala and is open to the public on Saturday, November 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Road Closures & Parking

Road closures will be in effect on Festival Avenue and Festival Lane from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on November 21. Free parking is available in the Community Centre underground parkade and at Festival Place.
