Water efficient rebates

Strathcona County and C3 have partnered together to offer rebates for households who invest in a WaterSense low-flush toilet and/or an ENERGY STAR front-load washer.

Clothes washer rebate

Front-load ENERGY STAR clothes washers use half the water and energy of a top-loading washine machine. They can save a typical family of four $150 in utility costs and more than 33,000 litres of water per year.

Rebates of $75 are available to all Strathcona County residents that purchase and install an eligible ENERGY STAR washing machine.

WaterSense toilets
In an effort to make shopping easier and to promote high efficiency toilets with proven performance, $50 rebates are available for residents who purchase toilets bearing the EPA's WaterSense logo.
