Disclosing clubroot information

The release of clubroot information pertaining to the presence of a pest under the Agricultural Pest Act will be conducted with the intentions of meeting the legislation and reducing the spread of the pest.

Strathcona County will be disclosing information only upon written request to persons engaged in the growing, transporting or processing of any crop that may be affected by a clubroot infestation or an organization representing them.

Information released upon a request will be based on general information. The landowner's/farmer's name or any other personal information will not be released for disclosure.

General information available for disclosure includes:

  • Land location;
  • If clubroot does or does not exist; and
  • If a test has or has not been conducted.

Written requests for the disclosure of clubroot information

When making a written request please provide the following information:

  • Your name and organization
  • Contact information
  • Purpose of the request
  • Location of request
  • Explanation of your engagement with the crop

Requests will be reviewed based on this information. All information will be recorded to ensure consistency.
