An evening of safari themed fun on Monday, December 31 from 4 p.m - 8 p.m.

Broadmoor Lake Park, Community Centre and Festival Place will be transformed into a fabulous family fun evening New Year's Eve!  Ring in 2013 with a night of FREE family fun and entertainment for the whole family.

Free Park 'N Ride     

  • Sherwood Park Transit Centre to Broadmoor Lake starts at 4 p.m. and runs every half hour.
  • Broadmoor Lake to Sherwood Park Transit Centre starts at 4:15 p.m. Departs in front of Festival  Place and runs every half hour. Last shuttle is at 8:45 p.m.

 

Madagascar

Performances with Alex the Lion from Dreamworks' "Madagascar 3"

Tickets are $10 and will be available for purchase starting December 4 at the following facilities:

  • Festival Place
  • Recreation Administration Office  (Until December 31 at 4 p.m.)
  • Glen Allan Recreation Complex (uutil December 30 at 6 p.m.)
  • Millennium Place (until December 30 at 6 p.m.)

** If a family purchase 4 tickets each additional family member, in the same household, will get additional tickets for $5 each.

Safari Iceland Playground presented by the Sherwood Park Elks
Check out a unique, unforgettable experience for the entire family on a playground made of ice. Make sure you check out the jungle ice slide by the picnic shelter at Broadmoor Lake Park.

G & J Parking Lot Maintenance Winter Walk (Prairie Walk located between Festival Place and Community Centre)

Volunteer Plaza(located directly outside the Community Centre)

Food Court 

The Sherwood Park Arena and Sports Centre, Festival Place and Community Centre all have concessions. Open from 4 p.m. – 7:50 p.m.
