(temporary position)
The Mechanic will provide service, maintenance, repair and preventative maintenance inspection work to Strathcona County’s fleet of vehicles and equipment.
The successful candidate will have:
- certification as a Journeyman Automotive or Heavy Duty Mechanic
- a thorough knowledge of vehicle, truck and heavy equipment repair practices
- knowledge of preventative maintenance practices• the ability to work with a large staff
- the ability to work independently and with limited supervision
- a valid class three Alberta operator’s licence
The hourly rate range for this temporary position is $34.94 to $37.57, working 40 hours per week. This position is available for four months.
