Tenders will be opened in public immediately thereafter. Tenders received that do not comply with the foregoing will be returned to the Tenderer(s) without consideration.
The Work, defined in particular in the Tender Form, can generally be described as:

The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Tenders and to waive irregularities and informalities at its discretion. The County reserves the right to accept a Tender other than the lowest Tender without stating reasons. By submitting its Tender, the Tenderer waives any right to contest, in any proceedings or action, the right of the County to accept or reject any Tender in its sole and unfettered discretion. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the County may consider any other factor besides price and capability to perform the Work in its sole and unfettered discretion.
Tenders must be accompanied by the Tender Security and Consent of Surety as specified in the Instructions to Tenderers.
Questions regarding the tender or tender drawings will not be answered on the date of tender close.
The Tender Documents may be purchased from the County at the County Address specified above on or after 2:00:00 p.m. local time July 16, 2010 for $25 (GST included).
The Standard Documents may be purchased from the County at the above address for $52.50 (GST included).
The Tender Documents and the Standard Documents will become part of the Contract Documents between the County and the successful tenderer.
