The Management Team is made up of four Chief Officers and two Assistant Chiefs:

  • Fire Chief and Director; Assistant Director, Emergency Management
  • Deputy Chief - Operations
  • Deputy Chief - Human Resources & Logistics
  • Deputy Chief - Community Safety and Emergency Communications
  • Assistant Chief - Business Operations
  • Assistant Chief - Emergency Management

The Operations Division is made up of four Platoons:

  • There are four Platoon Chiefs and over 150 Fire Fighter-Paramedics and Fire Fighter-EMTs. They work full time from three stations:
    Fire Station #1
    Fire Station #4 (Heartland Hall)
    Fire Station #5
  • They are supported by approximately 55 part time Fire Fighter-First Responders who work from two stations:
    Fire Station #2
    Fire Station #3

The Communications Branch is made up of a Captain - Communications, two Lieutenant - Communications and full and part time Communications Operators.

The Fire Prevention and Investigation Branch is made up of a Fire Marshal, a Captain - Fire Prevention & Investigation, two Lieutenants and part time public safety educators.

The Training Branch is made up of a Division Chief of Occupational Health, Safety and Training, a Captain and a Lieutenant, Occupational Health, Safety and Training.
