Township Road 560 upgrades

Township Road 560, from Range Road 214 to approximately 1,000m East, will be improved to a Class I road standard. The upgrades will provide a safe and sustainable roadway to help support the current and future traffic. The upgrades will tie into the existing improved Township Road 560 that was completed in 2018.

Proposed upgrades include:

widening the current 6.5m roadway to a 10m roadway (3.5m wide lanes and 1.5m wide shoulder),
improving the roadway to a hot-mix asphalt surface,
providing gentler ditch side slopes, where possible, and
improving the road profile to prevent future road closures due to spring flooding.
