Sherwood Park and Strathcona County have the recognizable big box stores you might be looking for, but the local shopping spots are what make this place so special! With several retail spots to choose from, you’re sure to walk away with some new favourite gems. 

Baseline Road

The range of stores found in the Broadmoor area needs to be seen to be believed. There are grocery stores, toy stores, and even home furnishing stores found in this area. You can even stop in at Arkadium, the retro video arcade, and rediscover your love of video games, or let the kids play while you run errands! This shopping area is in a great location and easily accessed by Edmonton and the Anthony Henday.

Broadmoor Boulevard

While you’re exploring Baseline, make sure to check out the stores found in Broadmoor Boulevard. From one of the top chocolatiers in North America (Jacek Chocolates) to a bakeshop full of delicious cookies and cakes (Wishes Bakeshop), this area needs to be properly explored to see everything. Centre in the Park

This area of Sherwood Park is also referred to as the heart of the County. The Strathcona County Library is found here which means that it’s a bustling area, and the shopping options make it a desirable location to visit. Find your new favourite piece of home décor at local shop, Driftwood Designs, or check out the latest fashions at another local favourite, Real Spirit Apparel. The Sherwood Park Farmer’s Market sets up shop in this area during the winter months, so if you’re around on a Wednesday, make sure to stop by.

Emerald Hills

This is one of the main shopping areas located on the north side of Sherwood Park adjacent to the Yellowhead highway. All the big store names you would expect like Old Navy, Walmart, Sportchek, and more, are found here. There are several delicious food options to refuel after your marathon shopping experience like Popeye’s Chicken, the Keg and more. The Italian Centre recently opened in the summer of 2021 - add them to your must-stop list!

Millennium Ridge

Found within easy walking distance of Millennium Place, this shopping area is full of local shops to explore. Newer stores like Statement Junkie can help fulfil your knitting needs, while Key Lime Athletic Wear is on hand to kit you in stylish athletic clothing. Make sure to stop at Niche Beauty and check out the latest in beauty products - you'll leave feeling like a million dollars!

Sherwood Park Mall

 This enclosed shopping area is a mixture of brand-name stores and local shops which means that you’re sure to have a unique shopping experience. You can spend hours here either shopping, eating, or watching a movie at Cineplex. Browse the book selection at Indigo or find some eye-catching jewellery or clothing at Country Chic Custom Designs. Head over and find what you’ve been looking for, even if you didn’t realize it!

Wye Road

On the south side of Sherwood Park, Wye Road has several other retail options for people to explore. The Sherwood Park Bookworm is tucked in just off the main road and is waiting to be discovered by you. Plenty of local food options are found here, and there are lots of things to do to enjoy like Sherwood Bowl or the Golf Den if you want to practice your swing. The Sherwood Park Bakery is found in this area and is beloved by anyone who tries it. Get there early to try their freshly made doughnuts!

Rural

Strathcona County is more than what’s found in the urban area of Sherwood Park, and it’s worth heading out to find gems in the rural area. Fox and Willow are a home décor shop with the latest styles in stock, and Unboutiqued has the latest in women’s fashions. Several greenhouses found in the rural area of Strathcona County are worth a visit as well – some are even open year-round, like Salisbury Greenhouse.
