Cooking Lake Blackfoot Provincial Park

Another great spot for winter activities! Head to the east side of Strathcona County to enjoy 85 kilometres of track-set trails for cross country-skiing (trails will be set after hunting season closes). Elk Island National Park

A world-renowned facility for cross-country skiing, this location offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing programs regularly. If you are interested in trying out either sport, rentals are available or bring your own and enjoy a great day in rural Strathcona County.
