Non-medical masks required

As part of Strathcona County’s efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, non-medical masks (face coverings) will be required for people entering all County-owned buildings (including recreation centres) and transit, effective August 4, 2020.

To visit a recreation centre, you must have a pre-booked activity time slot, group booking, or program registration. Learn more including new procedures in place and what to expect when you arrive.

To visit a recreation centre you must pre-book and prepay for your activity time slot. To book your activity time slot, you must have a Recreation Online account or call 780-467-2211. Regular racquet court fees apply.

  • Stay home when sick, wash or sanitize your hands often and well and follow all Alberta Health Services Guidelines for physical distancing.
  • Reserve your court with Recreation Online (available beginning July 10). Cashless payment options are encouraged upon arrival at the front desk.
  • Bookings are for 55 minutes. Please leave promptly at the end time to allow staff time to disinfect prior to the next group.
  • Come dressed to participate and leave excess items at home. Wallet lockers are available, locker rooms and showers will be closed. Towel rental is not available.
  • Bring a pre-filled, labelled water bottle. Bottle fillers are available but drinking fountains are not available.
  • Courts use will be limited to 2 people/court for the duration of the reservation.
