Keep It Clean

Prevent litter BEFORE it happens!

Keep It Clean is Strathcona County’s litter prevention program. Keeping our community clean is everyone’s responsibility. Litter has a negative impact on a community and affects resident and visitor attitudes towards their community.

How you can help

Prevent litter in our community
Almost everyone has littered at one time or another. People commonly litter at playgrounds and schools, in parking lots, bus stops and while driving. Taking the time to dispose of waste and recycling properly shows pride in our community.

Help clean up litter
County residents are invited to help make Strathcona County shine by taking part in the annual spring cleanup programs. The annual campaign brings volunteers together to help remove litter from roads, parks and trails.
