Strathcona County's Community Standards Bylaw was passed by Council on March 14, 2023. This bylaw aims to represent the County’s overall approach to establishing clear standards of presentation and accountability in our community.

While enforcement fines may be an option under the bylaw, community members are encouraged to work together to resolve disputes before elevating complaints for investigation. Visit Strathcona.ca/GoodNeighbour for tips on how to resolve conflicts.

*Note: The bylaw addresses noise, nuisance/unsightly premises, and sidewalk clearing; meaning these three previous bylaws are repealed and integrated into the Community Standards Bylaw.
