Public engagement process for the project

The Centre in the Park Area Redevelopment Plan update includes three phases of public engagement. Phase one was completed from May 24 - July 13, 2018 and Phase two was completed from January 7 - February 28, 2019.

We are currently in the final phase of public engagement. A third open house was held on October 24, 2019 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in meeting room 2 at the Community Centre in Sherwood Park. An online survey was available from October 25, 2019 to November 14, 2019. The open house and online survey provided an opportunity to comment on the draft Area Redevelopment Plan, proposed zoning and future street design concepts for streets within the boundaries of the Area Redevelopment Plan, including a portion of Sherwood Drive and Granada Boulevard.

Below you will find links to the following information from the October 24th, 2019 open house:

An engagement summary for this final phase of public engagement will be posted online when completed.
