Public engagement process

Over the past months there have been many opportunities for County residents and stakeholder groups to have their say in the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) update. Each of the four phases of the project outlined below included an opportunity to learn more, attend an event, and provide feedback.

Thank you to everyone who has provided their input to date to help shape the County's plan that will guide growth and development for the next 20 years.

Read our detailed engagement summaries below to learn more about the public engagement that has taken place during each phase and how it has informed the draft MDP. Review a list of past public engagement events, stakeholder meetings, coffee chats and a youth photo contest. Learn more about public engagement at the County.

Phase 4 - an opportunity to review the draft updated MDP and provide your comments and final input on the plan is now completed and took place from Jan. 6 - Feb. 13, 2017.

Phase 3 -
