Strathcona County releases 2025 Annual Report Cover of the Strathcona County 2025 Annual Report

Strathcona County has released its 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year of steady progress, strong financial results and continued investment in services that support a growing community.

The report shows how the County is making progress on Council’s 2023–2026 Strategic Plan, with a focus on supporting the local economy, building a healthy and safe community, planning for growth and delivering high-quality services. This report also provides financial information for the year ending Dec. 31, 2025.

“Strathcona County continues to deliver results that matter to our residents,” says Mayor Rod Frank. “This report reflects the progress we’ve made together and our shared focus on the future.”

The County invested $99.9 million in infrastructure, supported growth, enhanced services and accessibility, and enabled strong economic activity, including over $1.4 billion in new industrial projects either under construction or received final investment decision. The County also launched a new tourism campaign, “Go Strathco” designed to increase visitation. The County remains in a strong financial position, with the capacity to meet its obligations and support long term operational priorities.

“Through careful planning, disciplined budgeting, and a focus on sustainability, Strathcona County is positioning itself to meet future challenges while continuing to deliver the high-quality services our community expects,” says Jennifer Cannon, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer.
