South Cooking Lake community input wanted on residential water fill station opportunity

Strathcona County is looking for input from South Cooking Lake and area residents on the benefits of a residential water fill station for the hamlet and surrounding community.

There is an opportunity to construct a residential water fill station near Fire Station 2 within the hamlet of South Cooking Lake. Area residents are invited to attend an open house to review information and provide input on the pros and cons.

South Cooking Lake and area residents have formed a Citizen’s Input Panel to advise the County on how to best engage with the community. This Panel has also assisted the County’s engagement consultant with understanding the community’s potential level of support and possible concerns.
