Gallery@501 presents Passages, by local artist Vincent Roper

Gallery@501 is pleased to present Passages, by Vincent Roper. The exhibit opens July 5 and is on display until August 26, 2018.

The public is invited to attend the exhibit’s opening reception on July 5 at 7 p.m. at Gallery@501 (501 Festival Avenue, Sherwood Park).

Roper’s art practice draws inspiration from the fields and structures in and around his home in Strathcona County. He sketches in pastel en plein air whenever possible and his landscape paintings in oil and acrylic emphasize colour. Roper’s artwork explores colour as descriptors, as opposed to creating work that describes nature.
