On Saturday, November 17, enjoy the Celebration of Lights winter wonderland festivities at Festival Place. Help kickoff Strathcona County’s holiday season with FREE fun family activities.
On Saturday, November 17, enjoy the Celebration of Lights winter wonderland festivities at Festival Place, 100 Festival Way. Help kickoff Strathcona County’s holiday season with FREE fun family activities.
Festivities take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and include an opportunity for a FREE picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus, courtesy of Hodges & Mohr Realty Group. This year’s activities include wagon rides, Santa’s real live reindeer, Strathcona County Library’s Bookmobile, hot chocolate, holiday crafts, and more.
“At 5 p.m. please join us for the community countdown as the magic of the season will come alive with the lighting of our tree outside Festival Place”, says Mayor Rod Frank. “This event is special to our community and has a long standing tradition of kicking off the holiday season.”
Free park n’ ride is available from the Bethel Transit Terminal starting at 2:45 p.m. Please note that parking will NOT be available at Festival Place or the Community Centre.
