UPDATE: Candidate list

Ward 1 Councillor candidate, FRASER Janine, has filed a withdrawal of nomination.  The Returning Officer has accepted the withdrawal.

The Local Authorities Election Act states a candidate may withdraw within 24 hours of the close of nominations (before noon on September 19, 2017). After this deadline, all candidates, who have not withdrawn, will have their names appear on the election ballot. 

With the deadline to withdraw ended, a total of 30 candidates for Mayor and Councillor are running in the Strathcona County 2017 General Municipal Election.

Election Day is Monday, October 16.  Advance voting starts October 1.
