Today is Nomination Day for the Strathcona County 2017 General Municipal Election. The following individuals have filed nomination papers for the positions of Mayor and Councillor.

Contact information received from candidates on Nomination Day will be posted on the Strathcona County website as soon as possible after nominations close.

For the lists of candidates running for Trustee for Elk Island Public Schools and Elk Island Catholic Schools, voters should visit the school board websites.

Election Day is Monday, October 16, 2017. 

“Where to Vote” cards will be delivered to all Strathcona County households at the end of September. The card will include official candidates, Election Day voting station, and advance voting details.
Voters can cast their vote as early as October 1, the first day of advance voting. Voters can choose to vote at one of the 10 Advance Vote locations that will run during the first two weeks of October.
