Residents urged to stay off ice

Due to warmer weather, Strathcona County residents are urged to stay safe and keep off all stormwater ponds.

The ice conditions are unstable and unsafe on all bodies of water. Please take proper care and be smart around ice-covered bodies of water. Residents are asked to remind family and friends to obey all posted signs; safety on ice is a personal responsibility.

Designated Strathcona County outdoor skating rinks are closed when the ice is unsafe or the temperature is warmer than 5°C. Residents can sign up for outdoor rink status email notifications.
