Final draft strategy for Colchester to be presented to Council

The final draft growth management strategy for the Colchester area will be presented to Council at the Priorities Committee meeting on January 26, 2016. Members of the public wishing to comment on the final draft are invited to come and share their thoughts at this time.

A draft recommended community design concept and draft policy directions were presented to the public at an open house last November. Feedback received from the public has informed the final draft strategy.

A Council decision on whether or not to receive the strategy for information has been tentatively set for the Council Meeting on February 2, 2016.

The Colchester presentation at the January 26 Priorities Committee meeting is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. The meeting’s regularly scheduled open house begins at 5:30 p.m.
