Temporary closure of RCMP/Enforcement Services front counter

September 9, 2015

The front counter of the RCMP/Enforcement Services building at 911 Bison Way, Sherwood Park, will be closed to the public for a single day on September 15, to allow for movement to the new reception area on the east side of the building.

If required, the public are asked to call the 24 hour complaint line at 780-467-7741 during the front counter closure. As always, call 9-1-1 for emergencies. RCMP and Enforcement Services staff continue to be available for response and community policing.

The new public reception area will open to the public on September 16, 2015 at 7:30 a.m. Once open, RCMP and Enforcement Services front counter staff will continue to provide public services including fingerprinting processing, criminal record checks, dog licensing and general inquiries.

Fencing and signage outside the closed area will also alert the public of the one day closure. For more information, visit www.strathcona.ca/enforcement or call the 24 hour complaint line at 780-467-7741.

The new reception area is part of the $16.7 million RCMP building expansion.
