Help shape future recreation, parks and culture opportunities in Strathcona County

Feedback wanted! Strathcona County is kicking off the annual Recreation, Parks and Culture survey, which will run from October 1 to 31. The results of this survey are used to get a snapshot of the overall community needs and help to shape future plans for recreation, parks and culture opportunities and spaces.

Residents are asked to complete the short online survey at www.strathcona.ca/engagement. As a bonus for providing their feedback, survey respondents will be entered to win a ski trip to Marmot Basin and a West Edmonton Mall excursion provided by Coca-Cola.

Strathcona County staff will also be conducting in-person surveys at the Farmers’ Markets, Enviroservice events, on the Bookmobile and at Common Ground Community Café. Residents who require a paper copy of the survey can call 780-467-2211 to receive one.

Set in the centre of Alberta’s energy and agricultural heartland, Strathcona County is a thriving, successful and vibrant community of more than 95,000 residents. Strathcona County is made up of the urban area of Sherwood Park and a large adjacent rural area of farms, acreages and smaller hamlets.
