Snow route parking ban declared

A snow route parking ban has been declared by Strathcona County for all collector roads in Sherwood Park. Effective Monday, January 6, 2014 at 7 a.m. parking restrictions will be enforced. This is to ensure safe and efficient snow clearing on all collector roads.

The parking ban will remain in effect until the snow has been windrowed and removed. Vehicles parked on roadways marked with permanent snow route signage will be towed, and the owner issued a $250 ticket.
